Responsabilidades / Responsibilities

 

Engineer in charge of field engineering activities for the mining customers (OTR tire users) in Brazil to strengthen the relation with customer and verify, maximize and create the value and benefit of Bridgestone’s product and service.

 

  • Technical service (Before/After service) – Select proper tire spec, recommend appropriate tire usage conditions and propose necessary improvement of tire usage conditions and operating conditions based on field surveys;
  • Market survey – Collect mining customer and competitor tire information/data in the field from the customers to analyze the market environment and to verify the product competitiveness in the market;
  • Product performance evaluation – Prepare for field trial with customer, inspect tire condition, collect customer data related to tire performance and operating condition, analyze data, make a summary and report to customer and internal department;
  • Market quality management – Monitor the market quality of product by collecting various information and data through field activities. Manage customer complaints through on-site observation and customer communication;
  • Customer education/training – Provide appropriate training to give customers the knowledge, skills and tools to use Bridgestone’s product and service properly and maximize their values and benefits;
  • Bridgestone’s services and solutions implementation – Assess each customer's needs and new business opportunities, propose solution and verify the value and benefit of product, service and proposed solution;
  • Decide technical specification;
  • Analyze and summarize for market understanding and decision making;
  • Spread internal and for customer.

Qualificações / Qualifications


 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any types). 
  • Work experience in the mining industry. 
  • Basic requirements for working in the field and communicating with customers.
  • Frequent driving and travelling, Field work in mine site, Climb up and down on giant size tire. 
  • Basic vision, auditory and verbal communication for working in the field and communicating with customers.
  • Basic computer skill to use Office pakages; Excel, Power BI, Word, Power Point.
  • English advanced.
  • Driver´s license.
  • City/ estado: live in Parauapebas/ Pará.
